In 2022, in order to further improve the educational function of the old school site, the university, combined with the renovation work of the old site of the Yan 'an Revolutionary Memorial Site Administration, launched the implementation of the protection and upgrading project of the old school site of the Academy of Natural Sciences, and carefully planned and arranged special exhibitions, and built the special museum of the history of the old school site of Yan 'an。The construction project of the exhibition hall was funded by the donation of the 1973 microwave major Wu Handong and Wei Maohua alumni。
